Being desirous of giving effect to the resolution September 27th, 1923, by the Fourth ssembly of

the League of Nations:

Boing desirous of bringing about the effective suppression of all illicit trade in the substances reicrrel to in article 1 of the Intern: tional Opium Convention, signed at the Hague on January 23rd, 1912, by providing for closer co- operation bot een the Porore, and by extending more closely curtain provisions of Clapter III of the Convention of 1912;

nd being further desirous of taling curtain measures

in ecnnection with the import and orgort of coos larves;

Have agreed upon the following provisions;

The ... undertake to control or to ecuse. to be controlled ell persons manufacturing, importing, etc., morphine, cocaine and their respective salts, as voll as the buildings

n which these persons carry on such industry.

a). To confine the manufacture of morphine, cocrino end their respective alts to the so stablishments and premises alone Which are authorised for the purpose and to keep a register of the stablishments and promiles in which theço drugs aro mnafretured.
